Gena Pharmaceuticals Limited was incorporated on 11 May 2004, having its registered office at 7/2/1, Thakurpukur (N/W) Road P.S Barasat Parganas North Kolkata- 700128. The Company’s Project is at 7/2/1, Thakurpukur (N/W) Road P.S Barasat Parganas North Kolkata- 700128.

The Corporate Debtor is engaged in manufacturing of drugs, pharmaceutical and chemical products of all medicaments.

The Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process initiated under Section 7 against the Corporate Debtor on 9th August, 2019 by the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, Kolkata Bench vide its Order being C.P. (IB) No. 731/KB/2018.

On 09th August, 2019, Mr. Anup Kumar Singh having Registration Number- IBBI/IPA-001/IP-P00153/2017-2018/10322 was appointed as the Interim Resolution Professional of Gena Pharmaceuticals Limited.

On 07th January, 2022, Mr. Vasudeo Agarwal having Registration Number IBBI/IPA-001/IP-P00186/2017-18/10365 was appointed as the Liquidator of Gena Pharmaceuticals Limited in I.A. (IB) No. 108/KB/2021 connected with Company Petition (IB) No. 731/KB/2018. The order copy was received on 28th January, 2022.
